As you can tell, we aren't very good at this and I was hyped up on caffeine or something. This was my first time helping make these and they actually turned out to taste pretty good! Snap Crackle What?

I opened a box of Rice Krispie Treats for the little boys. Inside I found one package smaller than the others and when I looked at it closer I realized what was inside was much smaller than what it should be and not square like they normally are. I didn't narrate but the sound is there. I squeeze the little one to show you that I had bought it like this. I cracked up when I saw what looked like a half eaten chunk. This is the 2nd time we had this happen.

Cookie Cake, Rice Krispie Treat Cake Slices, Last Minute Cake

Last week one of our neighbors asked if I could do a cookie cake for daughter's school party, since her daughter's actual bday isn't til July at her school they celebrate them the last few weeks in May, so I did a regular chocolate chip cookie cake with buttercream daisies (instructions were to make it cute and girlie). Along with that she wanted to give the kids something different than just a bag of junk, so I suggested doing Rice Krispie Treats but making them look like slices of cake. She LOVED it! Finally, my dad's office manager had a birthday on tuesday as well so I had her a simple marble cake with chocolate buttercream and fresh strawberries on top. Awesome Phineas and Ferb Cake!

My son's favorite show is "Phineas and Ferb" so I designed this cake for him. I used cups with electronic lights in them to hold the dry ice. Dr. Doofensmirt's evil "Luminator" is just a mini luma disc on top of a car made of fondant and rice crispy treats. The roller coaster in the background is also made of fondant covered rice crispy treats. The tree, the fence, and the grass are all fondant as well. The cake was half rainbow white cake and half oreo cookie cake. Even though my boy didn't do so well with the "Happy Birthday" song, he had a great day and if you listen close, you can hear him say, "That sure is a cool looking cake."
