KELLOGG'S EXPERIENTIAL CAMPAIGN PROMOTES CHARITY TIE-UP

This current Kellogg's Rice Krispies Squares activity is a great example of experiential activity creating content for a fully integrated campaign. The Hmmm to Mmmm campaign promotes Rice Krispies Squares official tie-up with Red Nose Day and involves installing interactive vending machines into the UK's university campuses. The machine takes the student's picture (a Hmmm face) which is then morphed into an Mmmmm face whilst the machine dispenses a Ltd edition Rice Krispies Squares bar whilst they wait. The content generated by the activity is then used in the online advertising campaign and digital outdoor activity. The programme has been developed for Kellogg's by communication agency CMW, which conceived the creative concept, and experiential agency TRO ( www.tro-group.co.uk ), which designed and developed the experiential kit and are currently activating the roadshow. 4 Good Reasons Why Having an Egg Allergy is Fun

Fun? With allergies? No...I am not kidding! Having an allergy should not be a burden or an excuse to keep complaining about your condition. Learn how to reverse the disadvantages of having an allergy to be a lot of good reasons of having a wonderful life with allergies.

I take egg allergy here based on my own experiences, because I personally have an egg allergy, besides chicken allergy. But you actually can expand or change the list for any other allergies.

I believe that God has created human being and granted us a great living. So, it is up to us to fill it with negative things (complaining, grumbling), or positive thinking.

Allergy is a disorder of your body reaction. Or in another word: you are 'abnormal'. But, as God is perfect, it is impossible that He created us imperfect. That means He might have given us the allergy so that we can build or create great things from our condition. When I think about this, suddenly I can see my allergy in a different point of view.

What makes having an allergy be a fun?

These are just 4 ideas I can found, but you might come up with more good ideas:

Live healthier with healthy food

As a woman, I love sweet desserts like cakes and ice creams, just like many other women. But having an egg allergies force me to replace those calories-and-fat-rich desserts. My choice fall on fruit puddings, fruit salads or sweet Rice cakes (I live in Indonesia, and we have many choices of sweet Rice and corn cakes that do not contain eggs, they are delicious and healthier too!). So, at the end having egg allergy force me to have less fat in food, which make my life healthier too.

Help weight loss

Since high calories food usually contain eggs, having egg allergy means you must avoid those foods forever. This will help you in your weight loss or in maintaining your ideal weight. You would not crave for those kind of meals anymore, since you know the danger of having those foods, which is allergy or asthma attack. Maybe it's difficult in the beginning (I've been through it, really, it's tough!), but try to imagine how bad it feels when you got allergy or asthma, everytime you are tempted to eat food with eggs. I guarantee that you will lose your appetite!

After few months you will get used to it, and will never crave for the foods anymore. On the contrary, you will be proud of yourself as you can maintain your ideal weight while your friends keep complaining about the hard diets they must take.

No more hard diets

Have a research on foods you can eat (do not contain eggs) and you like. Then make a list of them. Every time you find a new biscuit brand in supermarket, or a recipe from internet or from your friend, add it to your list. Try to always stuck to the list. This way you can still eat what you like (I can have my favorite sweet cookies), without being worried of massive weight gain. However, always eat when you really need it, as excess eating can also cause you weight gain even if it is low fat.

Creating new hobbies and making new friends

This is the most fun part. As my mother share the same egg allergy with me, we like to go to supermarket or deli together. There we can scan snacks, biscuits and breads that we can eat (actually it's more fun to do it than write it!...). It's really exciting when we find new delicious food. We used also to bake our favorite egg-free recipe at home, and eat it together.

If you like to write like me, well...you can publish an article about your experience with your allergy, just like the one you are reading! You can also get new friends, through many forums in the internet, with whom you can share your conditions, and even learn new things from each other.

Aren't they all fun?

The most important thing is, always find good things from your 'abnormal' life with allergy. Then they will make you live a normal and happy live like everybody else.

Create Valentine's Day Family Traditions

Rice krispie treats

Often the fondest childhood memories stem from family traditions that were lovingly repeated throughout the years. Family traditions have family at the center of a celebration spending time together and creating lasting memories. If you don't already have a family Valentine's Day tradition, why not start one this year. It could be the beginning of many wonderful years of Valentine's Day memories with your family.

A Valentine family tradition doesn't have to be expensive. The main idea is to spend time with the family together. Here are some inexpensive ways you can start a Valentine's Day family tradition in your family.

Make a Food Treat Together

Most people associate chocolates with Valentine's Day, but how about making a different treat together that your family can share together. One fun treat you can make are Rice Krispies hearts. All you need is the basic Rice Krispies squares recipe, heart shaped cookie cutters and red sprinkles. Lightly grease the insides of the heart shaped cookie cutters and press some Rice Krispies squares mix into the cookie cutters. Then remove the cookies cutters and add the sprinkles. Repeat as needed with the rest of the mixture. It's simple enough for young kids to help out.

Another simple idea is to bake a cake in a heart shaped cake mold. Make some red (or at least pink) icing and then the kids can decorate the top with sprinkles and heart shaped candies.

Play a Family Game

Games are a great way for families to interact with each other and have fun at the same time. Choose a favorite family game and have an enjoyable time together. Make sure that it is a game everyone enjoys so nobody feels frustrated or left out. It's also fun to learn a new game together so the whole family is at the same level of expertise.

A card game that has hearts as the central theme is a good match for creating a Valentine's Day family game time tradition. Capture the Hearts is a simple card game that the whole family can easily understand and play. The object of the game is to win as many hearts as possible. The only card knowledge required is to know the order of the cards.

Watch a Family Favorite Movie

The movie doesn't have to be mushy and sentimental, as long as it is a movie that the whole family enjoys. It doesn't even need to be a movie you've seen if it's a movie that the whole family wants to see. Pop some popcorn, or eat some of the treats you've made for Valentine's Day, and enjoy some time together.

Exchange Homemade Cards

Instead of shopping for cards try making cards at home. You'll save money and have nice keepsakes. The cards can be as simple as folding a piece of paper and cutting out a heart with one straight edge of the heart along the fold. Write a customized message for each member of the family on a separate heart card for each. Encourage the other members of the family to do the same and you'll have a nice time exchanging special heartfelt cards.

Holidays are very special to children and Valentine's Day can be made even more memorable if you create your own family tradition. Your children may even use they traditions when they are grown with their own families.

How You Can Create Edible Centerpieces For Tables

Rice krispie treats

There are lots of delicious food, which could fit into your centerpieces. All you need is slightly inspiration and creativity. Edible desk decor is a unbelievable option to deliver something completely different to the table. From centerpieces to utensils, there are so many options that can accent your table almost effortlessly and totally economically. And, better of all, their environmentally friendly. Granted, your table decorations won't be a hundred% edible, however with these adorning ideas, you'll discover that they're excellent dialog starters and a charming way to make company feel special.

Accenting the theme of your occasion all the way down to the smallest details, edible occasion favors allow the sweet style of your event to linger within the mouths of your guests. When it comes to selecting a table favor that your entire company will love - regardless of age or gender--you may not go mistaken with food. Regardless of if you're planning a marriage, birthday party, retirement or graduation party, having a delightful treat at each place setting will be successful with all your guests. Personalised chocolate bars are nice for birthday events, and themed mint tins, adorned cookies and Jordan almonds work nicely for weddings. Chocolate lollipops within the form of bottles, carriages and even pacifiers make nice edible baby shower favors, and festive jelly beans in a jar add a splash of color to any table or occasion.

Eliminating extra waste, edible bowls and utensils are distinctive alternatives, which can be good for the environment. It would seem like a small thing, however when you concentrate on all the paper plates and cups, which are thrown away after an occasion, the contribution is significant. Bread bowls stuffed with soups, pasta and dips and tortilla shells for fiesta salads and Mexican dishes are just two examples of how friends can eat their manner by means of the meal with no traditional plate. Planning an ice cream social? Don't overlook the waffle bowls and cones. There are even a couple of companies, like Rice Design, that manufacture edible plates, bowls and chopsticks made from Rice and other varieties of grains. They're good for an Asian-themed affair. With this novel idea, your visitors can have a plate and eat it, too. What a technique to avoid doing the dishes.

Guiding visitors to their seats takes on a distinct twist once you incorporate food in your get together planning. From customized Rice Krispy treats to elegant mini wedding desserts, they're doing fantastic things with edible place playing cards holders that sweetly reward guests for finding their seat. Certainly one of my favourite concepts for the holidays is to write down the names of every guest on a hearty fruit, like a pomegranate, to put at every place setting. You may even write every individual's preliminary with cloves stuck into an entire orange for a aromatic, recent fruit place card holder. These two ideas actually capture the harvest feel for Thanksgiving and add nation charm to Christmas. A scrumptious cupcake with a reputation card tucked into the icing is ideal for birthday parties. For a sublime affair, frame your guest's name in a gold and ivory image frame made entirely of chocolate as an important do-it-your self place card holder idea.

When most people think about edible centerpieces, bowls of fruit automatically come to mind. Shifting past the fundamentals, dressing up your desk is all in the presentation. Even if you are utilizing fruit, you can make it greater than only a bowl of fruit by putting complete fruit in tall cylinders for a vibrant display of lemons, oranges, kiwi or limes. Limiting the design to one or two kinds of fruit per vase will add to the dramatic effect. From spring weddings to summer luaus, one of these arrangement can be used for quite a lot of celebrations. For an elegant display that company can enjoy on the desk, create a lovely centerpiece with chocolate-dipped strawberries arranged on a pedestal platter. Or, place petit fours on a tiered stand for a lovely arrangement. Both of those can be excellent for a bridal shower. Meal makes centerpieces enjoyable for kids, as well. Arrange brightly coloured lollipops or candy canes in a vase for a child's party, and clusters of cotton candy work effectively for carnival-themed events. When every baby takes a chunk residence on the finish of the day, in addition they double as party favors.
